2022 Highlights: Sunset Sessions Edition

What a year for Sunset Sessions! There's no better way to show all the stunning images from the 20 clients this year than to share sunset sessions highlights of 2022.  I want to thank each and every client who chose to take part. It was a record breaking year for sessions and I'm so grateful.

Fall's Sunset Sessions are some of my favorites that I have the pleasure to photograph each year. I love the variety of colors Minnesota autumn brings. The golden lighting of the setting sun creates a beautiful backdrop. When it's a cloudy sunset, the colors seem to saturate and pop. Either way, you can't go wrong!

In 2o22, I got to see how the kids of returning clients had grown as well as meet many new families. Both are such a joy!

Then, the gorgeous Kristin got her wish for snow during her maternity photos!

Traditionally, Sunset Sessions are outdoors, but I love to accommodate the wishes of my clients.

The look on Brooke's face after her dad spins her is is a definite sunset session highlight of 2022!

The team spirit of this family was amazing! They're no fair weather fans.

We got all the beautiful leaves toward the middle of October!

Also, Courtney wanted birch trees, so we gave her birch trees!

Inviting grandparents is so special!

This was a favorite. The couple's 10 year wedding anniversary (and I was their wedding photog as well!).

Pets are part of the family too!

It was so fun to see Mabel scooting on her belly after doing her newborn images months before!
