When I first moved to Flagstaff in November of 2022, I didn’t know a soul. One of the first people I connected with through a mutual friend was Brooke. She was so welcoming and inviting and I could tell was just a good person.
Brooke and her husband Eric decided a family film was the perfect way to celebrate this season of life. Their daughters, ages 5 and 3, were doing things they knew would not last long. They wanted a keepsake to remember.
Brooke describes her family’s perfect weekend day as waking up slow, making breakfast with her girls and Eric and doing activities or playing piano.
I loved what she wrote in her session questionnaire about her girls. “Holland just talks like an old college professor and I'd love to capture that! Martha just has the cutest speech right now. I honestly think it's great how she says her name.”
None of these things are over the top. They are simple, real and meaningful to the family. The point of a family film is just that - everyday realness. No dressing up, no perfectly clean house, just the magical unknown of a new day.
