Minnetonka In-Home Photography and Film
Baby Bennett
Is it just me or is it surreal when you or childhood pals do very adult things? Things like obtain a full-time job, own property, have children, and so on? I often feel not equipped to take on being an adult. As if my peers & I are not prepared. Fast forward to this Minnetonka in-home photography and film session.
Thinking back to childhood and observing my parents, they seemed so certain. The lesson as I’ve reached the perceived “age of certainty” is that no one has a clue what the hell they’re doing. We’re all trying to survive.
Why the revelation? My college roommate and longtime friend, Ashley, had an adorable baby boy. We met our freshman year at Bemidji State University, randomly assigned as roommates. After confirming to each other we weren’t goth (funny story behind that!) and asking the RA on day one where the dining hall was (literally the next building) we’ve seen each other through life’s ups and downs.
Bennett’s hands and feet were something Ashley & Peter love and want to remember in tiny form. It was amazing to see them as parents and while a bit surreal, heartwarming to capture some lifestyle family photos and a full-length film. Congratulations Ashley & Peter!
Expecting a child soon? Contact me to set up your own in-home photography and film session so you may keep all the most important moments.

I just love tiny baby toes, don’t you?
