Sunset Session

A little context for this sunset session photography post as I type. It’s September and there has just been 4 solid days of rain and sixty degree temps. This is coming off a weekend that included two days of a heat advisory warnings from the National Weather Service…welcome to Minnesota.

So, when you have to postpone your original date because it’s still 90 degrees at 6:00 pm, you raise your hands and thank the good Lord when he gifts you a perfect sunset.

I couldn’t have picked better clients to have along with me that evening. Amanda, Oz and their little Judson are some of my best friends. They were the first to jump on Sunset Sessions at the Minnesota Landscape Arboretum. I’m forever thankful for their belief in my dreams and constant support. They are simply great people and they deserve a 1000 perfect sunsets.

Every fall, Emerald Rue holds Sunset Sessions. If you’d like to be the first to know when bookings are available, sign up for the newsletter! It’s a quarterly (yep, only 4-6 emails per year!) note to inform, educate and share special offers.

If you want more information on full family film sessions, you can find it on this page. Then, reach out to Jen!
