Sunset Sessions are Emerald Rue’s signature photography sessions. Taking place during the golden hours of sunset, these sessions focus on portraits and the beautiful in-between moments.

Available year-round, I look forward to Sunset Sessions and the beautiful photography locations that are available. Sessions are up to one hour, one location and include a $200 artwork credit as well as 25+ digital images. Additional people (like grandma, grandpa, etc) are included at no extra charge. Each fall, select dates for Sunset Sessions are at a special rate. Fall Sunset Sessions are 30 minutes and only two families per evening. That ensures we are not rushed and my whole focus is on those two families. There is no artwork credit during the fall, but the same 25+ digital images are included. Additional people are $25/person.

A list of my favorite locations has been curated to help you decide which is perfect for your family. The locations include parks and areas I am familiar with, where I know the colors and sunsets are epic.

The entire goal of sunset sessions is to leave you with gorgeous, frame-worthy images of the best people in your life, your family. And, selfishly, it's a chance to see my faithful repeat clients and catch up, if only for an hour!

A Moving Portrait can be added, featuring your family in motion. The smiles, the hugs, and the way they move. There's something magical about seeing a family in motion that'll mean more than you know as the years roll by.
